by Saul Fleischman on December 7, 2011

Friends have been sharing “Proposed Facebook Buttons”

Here are my suggestions – what would keep Facebook open on my PC:

Saul Fleischman's Proposed Facebook Buttons

But what would you like in your Facebook?

What buttons and functionality would make Facebook less of a time-kill for you?

Saul, when are these getting implemented?? LOL! we need them now :)

    • Saul Fleischman

Ah, but what would your custom buttons do? Widgets…?

Incite Rebellion is a good one, should have a guy pitching tents saying “Occupy Something”

    • Saul Fleischman

      Yes, Occupy (fill it whatever).

Saul, all of the buttons are good… hope to see them soon, formally on FB :)

You are too kind, Dave. Hope all’s well with you. I keep on keepin’ on, you know. Say hi soon, okay?

    #OccupyFacebook until these are launched!

  • Samantha Bangayan

Haha! Loving these, Saul! =) I always feel like buttons don’t express as much energy as my personality would like to. I would even have a “Duber Love” button. =)

    • Saul Fleischman

Yes – and imagine, perhaps someday, a social network in which we can create our own buttons/widgets that let us do special things. “Make all the ‘i’s from this friend have little hearts above them,” or “change this friend’s updates to be prefaced with ‘today I’m bitching and moaning about…” or “make this friend’s wiggle a little and then stop wiggling (each time someone views them).” Cool?

Thanks, and for someone who’s hardly a FB fan (can’t stand it!), I think I put much time into this, haha.

I like Throw Tomato the best. Call me old school but I also miss “slap with a large trout.” “poke with a large sharp object” would also be good. Just “poke” doesn’t cut it sometimes. :)

  • Jaydeansaskcan

    I want them!!
