No, I am also a member, contributing and discussing the many startup ideas in IW.
Michal and I are Ideators, too, and regularly study and interact on our own and other Ideators’ Ideas launched in IdeasWatch.
How our Ideators get featured
Those featured on our top page are there based on their “Ideation,” our points system which is simple, totally transparent – and spelled out right here: http://www.ideaswatch.com/inspirers
Note that the likes you receive on your idea (not those you give, but those other Ideators give your ideas) count for your Ideation. These keep adding up, and while Ideators featured on the top page is based on stats for the last 30 days, the “all time” stat keeps growing as your Ideas take on comments, links, and likes. Partners joined to your idea do not get scored; we think you will get plenty more just by getting one or a few people to choose from to team up with and get your idea made and brought out into the public.
Who’s in the lead?
Also, active members and those whose Ideas draw the most interest and interaction find themselves on the all-time leaderboard:
Even before your web app or site gets traction – get traction in IW
Ideas keep on collecting input, discussions, cofounder interest and likes – so those with awesome ideas keep growing in their Ideation ranking. Time invested and time with us pays, thus – in how much you are seen in IdeasWatch.
Be sure to also learn about other Ideators from their profiles
This is where you can also privately message them, in case you want to talk on an idea privately. You can see members’ attached social network profiles, connect with them through Facebook, Twitter, etc. as well as evaluate what they are doing in IdeasWatch.
We believe we would be nothing, we’d go no where – without you.
(So, what are we going to do for you?)
We aim to feature you, because Michal Hudeček and I believe that most of our ideas have great facets and flaws as well – but that the people behind them are where the value lies. We want you to get seen by each other, get to connecting and truly teaming up, planning and getting your dreamchild built, perhaps crowdfunding it, or, simply “bootstrapping” it (and retaining all equity, or ownership rights).
A little reminder – we want the IdeasWatch blog (with its teaser right in the center of our top page) to be mainly from you. Submit your story of how you connected with someone in IW, and how you are planning or building something together to saul@ideaswatch.com for consideration for the blog.
